Instructions:

1. Ensure the refractometer is clean and free from any residues before use.
2. Calibrate the refractometer following the manufacturer's manual (can be find in the box), using a suitable calibration solution.
3. Handle samples with care, ensuring they are well-mixed and at the appropriate temperature.
4. Open the prism cover and apply a small sample onto the prism surface.
5. Close the prism cover gently to spread the sample evenly.
6. Look through the eyepiece or viewfinder and focus if necessary to obtain a clear scale reading.
7. Record the measurement from the scale.
8. Clean the prism plate and housing after each use to prevent cross-contamination.
9. Store the refractometer in a cool, dry place, and protect it from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
